Frequently Asked Questions
1. How long will delivery take?
If we have your selection in stock we will be able to deliver them within 3 working days. In order to maintain competitive carrier rates, we will deliver all similar goods in one shipment. Should your canvas not be in stock we will place an order with our artists. Please note your canvases are individually hand crafted and do take time to be created. Where goods are not in stock please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. Should your order be for more than 10 canvases please allow four weeks for delivery. We will keep you informed of the delivery timeframe by email. Please also note we do not charge for your goods until they have been shipped to you. Whilst these timeframes are standard we cannot be held liable for any delay should the artists take longer in the production of the paintings.

2. How can I check the status of my order?
When your order is dispatched and where a tracking system is available you will receive an email confirmation of your order along with a link to the appropriate carrier and a tracking number. Note that international orders shipped with standard delivery cannot be tracked.
3. What is your Returns Policy?

4. Will I be billed duties and taxes?
The prices on our website are excluding VAT. Orders outside the EU may be subject to local taxes, import duties or customs charges. Alacadoo-art.com is unable to accept responsibility for charges levied by other countries as customs policies vary widely from country to country. We suggest you contact your local customs office for further information. Please also be aware that cross-border shipments may be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
5. Why can’t you ship to my country?
Due to shipping restrictions, we are not able to ship goods to certain countries. If you are able to select your country when filling in your address, then we are able to ship goods to your country.
6. Do you ship to countries to which the carrier does not offer shipping insurance?
Yes. We will ship your order (at your own risk) if we receive payment in U.K. currency using an International Money Order in advance.
7. Are my credit card details secure with alacadoo-art.com?
Yes, they are very secure. Once you decide to purchase, you are directed to a secure server which uses 128-bit encryption to complete your card details, then returned to our website where the transaction is completed. No card details are kept on the alacadoo-art.com website.
8. Which methods of payment are accepted?
We accept most forms of cards including Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Switch. We also accept personal cheques.
Please note Alacadoo Ltd is partnered with Physio Logic Ltd and displays canvases within the Physio Logic premises. Where payment is made by credit card, your card statement will automatically show Physio Logic Ltd within the payment summary.
9. I want to pay by cheque, but how would I do this?
Simply send cheque for the correct amount, made payable to Alacadoo Ltd, to Alacadoo Ltd, 26 Westgate, Otley, West Yorkshire, LS21 3AS along with your name, address and contact details such as your mobile phone number. Once the cheque has cleared, the art will be sent to the address you requested.
10. How much do you charge for delivery?
For standard delivery:
UK - Mainland Flat Rate of £20.00 per painting
Ireland - £25.00 per painting
Outside UK within EU Flat Rate of £30.00 per painting

11. How quickly will I receive my order?
Where canvases are in stock: You normally receive them within 3 working days if ordered before 1500hrs (excl weekends) assuming payment has been cleared.
Where canvases are out of stock: Within 2-3 weeks.
Where goods are by order only: Not normally held as standard stock, but can be ordered especially for you to your requirements, please allow one month.
12. What if I want to return the goods to you?
In the unlikely event that the art does not meet your needs, please notify us by email within 7 days of receipt of delivery. You may then return the art in its packaging to us in original, undamaged condition within 30 days of receipt using our designated carrier at your expense and we will give you a full refund of the purchase price. For further details please see our Returns section under our Terms and Conditions.
Please note you may not cancel orders for specially commissioned or personalised goods (this particularly relates to canvas art pictures created with an image you have provided us with or where you have asked us to alter a picture, advertised on the website, to suit your specific requirements).
